I have to agree with Jeff on this one. Mark L's luck and skill have been
outstanding, but not every flier, myself included could hope for as much
luck or skill with an engine out scenario like he's been dealt. His luck,
both good and bad, with the corvair engine is something we all must
consider. The VW has all it's wrinkles ironed out as far as aircraft go. the
corvair, is just going to have to develop further for my tastes before I
would consider one. for now, I'm with Jeff in thinking a type IV, short of
am O200 is the way to go to get more HP.
