Unless you feel the need to be on the cutting edge of aircraft design 
or just feel a need to do something different, go with the tried and 
true (and probably faster build) KR2S with conventional 
construction.  Which will you enjoy more, building or 
flying?  Personally, I enjoyed the learning experience of building 
but I enjoy the flying (430 hours now) a great deal more. :-)  To my 
knowledge, no all composite constructed design based on the KR series 
has yet made it in the air.
