Beware toggle switches - I was looking for something better than a press
button for the Starter. I settled for an OFF-ON with a with spring return to
OFF. It had MS spec so I thought that that was as good as it gets - wrong .
One day it failed to return to off without me noticing. I actually got off
the ground with the starter engaged. I was aware that all was not well so I
landed and taxied all the way to the hangar before a scan of the panel found
the culprit the penny dropped- enough said.
Cheers
ALAN TAYLOR,
Aus.

I would put the dual mags on separate switches, this way if one breaks,
i still have the other AND I have ON1, ON2 Both ON and Both OFF (A VERY
IMPORTANT FEATURE) (like the J3 Cub)
