Hey Guys,I have been following the dvelopment of the ADS-B techknowlgey that has been developing.With that in mind i was wondering what that meant to instruments tha i am using and actually love at the present time. I have a microair TFl-2000 transponder. I wrote them a question about the latest out their futuupdates that they have listed on their web site and also about their future plans realitive to ADS-B instruments. Greetings Joe, The Rev 8 upgrade is allows serial and parallel data to be transmitted to the T2K instead just using the parallel Gillham data. So unless you change to an encoder that requires serial data to be transmitted then there is no need to upgrade to a Rev 8. Regarding the ADS-B, we are not intending to go down that path at this point of time; however I know Freeflight sytems in the USA do.
