Crain, An interesting idea, but (there's always a 'but') I'd be concerned with a reduction in the strength of the wing surface by the creation of any 'hole' large enough to be accessible. To offset this might require a considerable increase in weight to reinforce the area.
If I might offer a couple of alternate ideas, how about either glassing up a removable pod that hangs below the bottom of the center wing or an belly mount luggage pod similar to the one for the Tornado (http://www.titanaircraft.com/pictures/7d3dee1dd0ca8b8ce379c4807faa0ae6.jpg ). Neither of these will compromise the structural strength of the wing and will add only a negligible amount of weight for the mounting points.
