I'm sure that eliminating any gaps is always an improvement, but having said that, my CHTs are cooler than anybody elses that I know of. It should be noted that I built those plenums in just a few hours as a mockup, but they worked so well I never came back and "did it right". On my next one I'll make them so the top nests into the bottom tightly with an overlap of the plenums so there will be no gap. Mark Langford www.N56ML.com
