They were flying a customer aircraft and indicated that there was smoke in the cabin and tried to turn back to the airport and came up a half mile short. The plane caught fire on impact. Bud was a very fine individual and was open to discussion anytime you called and he was an addament supporter of the experimental aircraft industry. He will be missed and I wish his family great peace in this time of need. Blaine Anderson
