I'm curious as to why you guys pay for hull insurance on your KRs? I can't
imagine that I would allow anyone but myself repair the plane and with the
money saved on hull insurance, you will have paid for the plane in a pretty
short time. I carry $1M liability on my KR, but with my cumulative flight
times and time in type, my insurance bill last year was $192. In earlier
years, it was generally in the $300 - $320 range for the same coverage. Jeff

Hello Everyone;

Does $1300 per year for Hull and Liability insurance sound about right to
everyone. My KR-2S is tail wheel. I have about 3 hours tail wheel
experience

at the moment and was limited to coverage once I get 15 hours dual.
