Hey gang,

I see Larry Flesner asking about me in his last post. I figured I had
better give everyone an update. I'm still standing on the green side of
earth. A lot has happened in the past year since the heart attack and
stroke. I've sold both of my planes and my Bridgeport. Most of my
tools have been sold and I've really cut back on the things that I do.
After the stroke, I was mostly blind. Some of my sight has come back,
but I'll probably never be able to drive or fly again. I always tell my
"doc", I can see everything but I can't see anything. Funny, but when I
look straight ahead, everything is in view, but my brain crosses it up.
Try walking around with your eyes crossed. That's kinda what it's
like. I don't look for pity, just understanding. The next time I see
you, I may be looking straight at you, but may not see you. I still
get the Digest everyday and reading it takes a little longer than it
once did, but I look forward to it and love to follow the progress of
everybody. Last Sunday I met with Terry ( one of my camera operators/
partners) and we got to talking about the "Gathering" I told him it
was going to be back at Mt. Vernon again this year and it sounded good
to him. If we can, we are going to try to be there this year. We
probably wouldn't shoot video, but we sure would like to see everyone
again. The "Gathering" is a great event. If you've ever been to one,
you know what I mean. If you haven't, you need to go. Well worth it!!

Well that's about all there is to report. Thanks to all you guys that
have sent me kind notes and thoughts. I hope to see you at Mt. Vernon.

Bye,
