Steve, I looked for the knurled filler neck and plastic cap that I bought from
either AC Spruce or Wicks 15 years ago when I was building my KR. They don't
seem to exist any more. I'll try to remember to dig through some old catalogs
to see if the part number from them is still any good. I would advise against
venting the header tank through the cap unless you really like having fuel
splash on the windscreen and enjoy that fuel smell in the cockpit when it does.
It's not difficult or expensive to vent all of your tanks out the bottom of
the wing and/or fuselage. With a separate vent, you can use sealed caps and
avoid getting water in to your tanks. Jeff ScottLos Alamos, NM ----------

Does anyone have a preference (Hopefully affordable) for fuel filler assembles
and caps? Need two for the wing tanks and one for the header. Thinking about
using one with a fuel vent included for the header tank only. (building in
vents for the wing tanks) Your opinions appreciated.
