I am getting close. The fuel probe fittings are made and the installation
of the probes has been tested. One of the fuel cap installations is
complete as can be for now. On Monday, when the VE arrives, I will begin
patching up the holes in the wings that had to be made for this conversion.
I have so many hours in this project, it is way over budget and beyond its
completion date, already. So, I am not going to keep track of the hours
anymore. It is too depressing and makes me feel like I am punching a time
clock. No fun, but I am now back to making progress toward the goal with no
setbacks since messing up one of the fuel caps. I have a new cap and will
make the new fitting, as soon as the VE has been used to patch the holes.
We only have a few more days of warm weather left and I must get that part
done so the VE can cure quickly.
