How about space grease. YES, space grease. Anyone out there who has built a Varieze should be familiar with it.
You bought it by the 35 mm film case size and it was used to lube the rod that linked the fuel selector valve in the front of a Varieze to the fuel selector valve located in the engine bay rear of the plane. As once you glassed the rod into the fuse of the plane, you had no way to lube it. The stuff was developed for the shuttle and once you put it on something, it would not come off and was slick for life.
