Mark, sorry for the late response, checkout anywheremap.com I bought the software when it was $90 and used a older hp pocket pc. I believe it runs on a pc with the correct version of software. I run mine with a wireless bluetooth gps reciever.

They have a 30 minute video that sums up an amazing capability...all of the stuff that I thought ought to be displayed is there, implemented as if I'd designed it myself.
