Not sure it is worth the post, but this is what I have accomplished since Monday.
Mostly preparation of the tip end of the wing and tank on the left wing, Tuesday and Wednesday, and Friday. Thursday, I went to OGB to visit Matt and check out his work on the canopy installation. While I was there, he made a couple of nice fittings for the fuel drain thingys. So I started today by gluing in the ( got my T-88 yesterday) re-enforcement plywood on the spars at the tip end of the tank and set that (left) wing aside to start doing all the same stuff all over again on the right wing, with the addition of some final clean up from the existing glass tank that was in this wing. I accomplished my goal, which was to get the stub end mounted. The pic is at the bottom of: http://krbuilder.org/ConvertingToWingTanks/index.html Tomorrow, I will be back at it again and hope to get the tip end of the left wing mounted. Daniel R.
