My problem in the charging system is corrected and I intend to leave early Thursday morning and fly to the Gathering. After ordering a new regulator I found an in line connector that I had overlooked and it appears that was the problem. I installed the new regulator anyway as the company suggests hardwiring the unit into the system and I didn't want to wire in a 10+ year old regulator and take the chance on having to do it all over again. The new regulator also gives me a 1 volt higher charging rate. I might have a problem with my backup battery but $50 at Auto Zone will correct that problem. I'm down to fill up, pack up, one more sleep, and boogy !!! YEEEEEE HAAAAAAA
