It seems like every year something comes up that either keeps me from attending the KR Gathering or it keeps me from flying my KR to the gathering.
In the past it has been everything from electrical gremlins that popped up on my KR just before leaving (that turned out to be minor lose wire) to family issues business committments or other. well this year I am so looking forward to attending and flying and I am only about 30 miles from gathering as I am in Lexington, KY. Well, this week I had an event with a ladder a tree and a chainsaw. The good news is, I didnt cut anything off. The bad news is I have a broken foot, chipped wrist and only minor lacerations. I can still be there but I ability to fly by then is very suspect. Does anyone have any thoughts? I can also host several people if they need a place to stay. I have plenty of room in my home and some pretty cool features like game room, theater room and so forth. I ahve also lived in Lexington a few years and can play host to tours and horse park events and such. It is really beautiful here and as Dana said, this is not po dunk nowhere Kentucky. This is the heart of horse country, we have a real English Castle to see, bourbon distilery tours that are to cool to describe and much more.
