I used smooth prime, and will never use it again, so I do not suggest that
one.  If you want to know why, just ask off net.  Any two part filler primer
will do fine.  I was advised that using a Lacquer based paint is better for
your health than enamel, so you may want to investigate which type you will
use.  I have used enamel, and agree with the reasons for not using it, but
too late for me.  I know you did not ask about paint, but it may be time to
start planning for it.

one that is relatively cheap.
