KR Builders, I have a pair of O-200 engines for sale. These are 0 SMOH bottom ends, currently with no cylinders or accessories. Engine #1 is eligible for installation on a certificated aircraft and meets new standards with the crankshaft ground to -.010.
Engine #2 is Experimental only. I have no serial number for it, so the data plate will be stamped EXPERIMENTAL. Also, there was some small amount of pitting on the prop side of the crank flange that we dressed out. The pitting was deep enough that the crank is on the margin for what could be ground out and still pass a yellow tag inspection. The crank is ground -.020 and meets specs in every other regard. I do not consider it to be unsafe and would fly behind it in my plane if I had a need for another O-200. I have a set of rebuildable cylinders that we can overhaul and install on either of these engines for $2500, or install a set of new cylinders. Both of these engines have no accessories, but I do have some used accessories available. Engine #1 is priced at $5000. With a new set of cylinders (roughly $3500 + $200 for me to install), one could own a certified O-200 meeting new specs less accessories for 0 SMOH for $8700. Engine #2 is priced at $4000. With the set of repairable cylinders I have here overhauled and installed, one could have an experimental O-200 with 0 SMOH less accessories for $6500.
