If someone could give me a crash (poor choice) course in cutting out an
aluminum spinner to accommodate a composite prop, I'll be most appreciative.
The spinner (SN-4) is from the Aircraft Spruce catalog, page 179 in
2009-2010 catalog, and the prop is a Prince 52-48 composite for a VW1835
engine. There's also a small (12mm dia.) dent in the very end of this
spinner, and I'd like to know if there's a way, without major surgery, of
fixing it.

Since I'm still new to your group, I hope mundane questions like this don't
get me tossed out. Guess I'll find out... If I can get the Secretary of
War to take a pic with her oh-so-complicated camera, I'll post a pic of the
spinner ding shortly.

Thanks much,
Joe Walburn
