Thanks Dan, I have one of those . They are on Cleveland's but do the same thing. I guess I'll pull mine down and check them. I would have had my Corvair started today but after a problem with the starter not engaging the ring gear deep enough then today there is a wiring unknown that we haven't ran down. We have her loaded and she will go down Tue to our Business Expo in Town. We have two spaces there free as we are willing to bring 2 planes down and set them on both sides of the entry to the expo building. We will take our 150 trainer and our Corvair KR2S this year to show the ways you can get into Aviation. We had over 2000 people last year and looking for almost double that this year. The scary thing is that when I finally got the wheel apart, I saw that most of the inside diameter of the tube had been pinched in the wheel seam. And, the really scary thing is that the wheel had not been torqued completely, or, the tube would have been cut. There were no cuts in the tube from where it was keeping the wheel from going completely together. I issue this post to any of you who have wheels that you inherited from someone else.
