Swift said they could produce their fuel for $2.00 a gallon once they good geared up for full production. That is about half what I am paying for 100LL. They couldn't tell me when they planned to go full blast. They did say they had sent two barrels to the FAA and they liked what they liked it. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I wouldn't hesitate to invest myself.

That might be what it's costing them for their "test" batches but they claim it should be comparable to 100LL when in full production. They also claim it will increase your horse power by allowing you to advance timing by 2 or 3 degrees. Personally, I hope they succeed. If they do, I don't expect to see it on the market for 3 to 5 years. Also, if I heard correctly, they have produced a 4000 gallon batch or two for running a test engine (a big one, 540ci or so) to TBO and check for wear.
