Now that winter has hit in force, I am looking at "improvements" to make. One is to move the battery from just behind the seat to some more forward location. One is in the engine compartment and the other is just forward of the main spar. The reason for the move is poor starting performance. The cables that I have from the battery to the firewall are evidently crappy and if I have to do that much work, maybe a shorter path for the volts would help too. Where do most folks place the battery?
