Hey Bob,
The wings are standard taper and length from the 2s plans with Mark's AS
airfoil. The tips are my own home brew shaped only by looks. The tail feathers
on my plane are the stock 2s size and airfoil. They were completed before the
new airfoil was avaiable and I wasn't going back to change at that time. The
incidence is the only thing different from plans. I also should say that I
don't think it was horizontal or elevator that was starting to get weak, but
the vertical stab only. The rudder had enough to move me where i wanted to go,
just the tail wasn't powerful enough to keep me going that way. All in all
though I only needed to go up that high once in 450 hoursand as I remember the
control came back to normal by the time I hit 16000'. Also don't get the wrong
idea that it was out of control or even on the edge. It was just like I said it
swould drift back and forth from course line with out constant imput.

Joe,

What wing do you have on your KR (airfoil?, taper per plans?, span?). I'm
interested in how your kr might relate to mine for altitude performance.
