Hi guys, I had a great time at CC#16 Friday and Saturday. Lots of fun and great information on Corvairs and Corvair powered airplanes. A special thanks to Mark Langford for taking the time to remove his turtlrdeck for me so I could see how the experts mount their stabilizer. I wish I could have stayed for the whole weekend but my daughter had her 17th birthday Saturday and she wanted Daddy to grill steaks for her and her friends. On a side note as I was walking down the taxiway Saturday I heard the unique sound of a corvair at full throttle above me. Low and behold there was Joe Horton doing a high speed pass at about hanger height down the taxiway, what a rush. I started back to work on my KR Sunday with a new zeal I hope to be flying with you in a couple of years. I would like to get done sooner but I have to be realistic. Forn those of you who haven't been to a CC and are installing a Corvair on their plane you really should attend. It will really get you motivated to finnish your plane. John Godwin KR2S N924JA PS.
