Old Blue was the high timer - never did get a firm figure on the hours
but it was over 2000. It's in the archives, what Dan arrived at.

Sparky's KR built by Bob Passmore has about 1400 hours and was the first
KR with DD's tricycle gear, Sparky recently told me. Also is one of the
only KR's that Jeannete has gone for a ride in, back in the day.

My KR-1½ (Ken Cottle's, finished in 1987) is almost at 1400 TT. My
recent trip of 5331 SM added 47 hours. It is a contender for the
highest-time KR, but you sure wouldn't know it to look at it. It has
held up extremely well over time. Top notch construction, finished with
Dietzler Durathane and being kept hangared throughout its life have all
played their part in keeping this still a new-looking plane.
