Nice to see some interest in this machine.
There are a hardy few of us following in Scott Watts footsteps and having fun figuring out how to build a brand new design. Remember, the reason were home builders is because we like the challenge of actually creating an airplane ourselves. Im having a blast and learning new techniques almost every day. I havent taken the time add up my spending so far but its been pretty modest. Foam, epoxy and fiberglass are pretty easy to work with, about on par with wood so it will take me about as long to build as a KR2S. I live in Minnesota (50º out right now) so I work in my garage during the warm months and do small stuff in my basement over the winter (Ive just finished moving downstairs). The main fuselage and horizontal stabilizer are done. I hope to have the wing ribs finished by spring and will build the main spar once I can get back in the garage. Look at Scotts web site to see more about the plane. Dave McCauley
