Hi Netters,
Just been reading a lot about the evils of time expired fuel,yet theres nothing
to state how long it takes for AVGAS to deteriorate.I have been given so many
conflicting times by different sources that I thought I would consult the
experts ---- our netters.
Furthermore,there seems to be a strong support in some quarters,that leaded
automotive fuels are best for a VW or Corvair engine as these engines were
designed in leaded fuel days.Lead substitute fuels are available now.Automotive
fuels seem to be coming more popular and Avgas seems to be used only when
nothing else is available at an airport.Netters,
lets have a consensus.
