I switched mine to RAPCO linings when the brakes on my KR needed new linings. I haven't noticed any change in braking or wear. FWIW, I always use the RAPCO linings for the aircraft I maintain and have not observed any issues with them. I'm not familiar with Avpro, but wouldn't have any heartache about trying a set.
