There was a post recently about were to mount turnbuckles for the rudder cables. I dont use turnbuckles on the rudder cables , I dont see the need as you actually tension the cables with your legs. What I have done is make a strap of 4130 @ 3 to 4 inches long and ¾ wide (obviously sizing can be adjusted to you own needs). Drill a series of holes along the length. One end hole is attached to the cable, just use a thimble and swage to attach, the other end hole is for your return spring or run around cable (these are needed to keep the pedals from falling back when the aircraft is unattended not to provide system tension). The remaining center holes are your rudder pedal position adjustment. Lighter and much less expensive than turnbuckles.
