If it makes you feel any better, I never "conditioned" my Cleveland pads or 
disks and now have almost 1800 landings on my KR.  And probably half the 
brake pad is still there, and they've never squeaked or squealed, and seem 
to hold as good as the first taxi tests.   I personally wouldn't jeopardize 
standing the plane on it's nose just to make the brakes happy. You need to 
get a good feel for the plane during taxi testing without worrying about 
stuff like that.  As Larry often says, "your mileage may vary".

By comparison, I'm ready for my fourth or fiftth set of tyres...
