Hi Guys and Girls;

I dug out the log books of O'l Blue (N4DD), there are several of them.

They are sometimes difficult to read so I transcribed them into a computer
file.

Bob Glidden and I settled on about 1850 hours total time on the airframe at
the last annual. It has had several engines and now has a Continental
O-200-A.

Bob can chime in here if he wants but I recall him saying that the airframe
was in great shape after 32 years of service and many modifications.

You see O'l Blue was used for a test bed for different things over the years

I found an e-mail from Dan Diehl where he said [quote] "It had over 1200 on
it when I sold it to Gene.

I wish I had put an hour meter in it when I built it."

Dan Diehl

So if you add up the hours, 1850 hrs. plus 1200 + hrs. = 3050+ hours as
best I can tell and is still going strong.
