Is Chalkie Stobbart getting any press over there Willie?

Many will remember he and Peter Engst flying a 1924 Fairchild 24 from
Johannesburg to Oshkosh in 1992.

He and Peter did it again ten years or so later in Chalkie's RV-6.

Now he's at it once more. He's scheduled to land back in Cape Town early
Monday morning, thus breaking Alex Henshaw's 1939 record in flying from
London to Cape Town and back. Chalkie is doing it the other way around,
flying a borrowed GP-4. Chalkie's day job is as a Training Captain for
South African Airways.
