I have just returned from yet another beautiful flight in the Wisconsin skies.
The wind is right down the runway at 11 mph and the skies are clear. The
horizon was visible 360°. I now have 3.1 flight hours on the engine since it
was rebuilt. So far all is perfect except when I checked the belly of the plane
after this flight there was a stream of oil running about four feet back. I
noticed on my last 30 minute flight that I was getting some oil leakage from
around the front seal of the fifth bearing. I have not pulled the cowl yet to
check this leak out but I have a feeling that this is the culprit. I will let
you know for sure as soon as I can. What a blast the KR is to fly so all you
guys keep building and you too will be making posts like this soon.
