KRNetHeads, Brian Kraut sent me a text message the other day asking that I find somebody to organize the KR dinner at SNF this year. He's apparently stretched beyond capacity (that's saying something for him) and would like somebody else to run with it this year. He must be in jail for building airplanes at home in Jacksonville, because his last post was in November! I'm in England this year and can't do it, so I'm asking for a volunteer that's a regular and knows how and where it's done to handle it this year. Please volunteer and let the rest of the net know that somebody's dealing with it.
It's customarily on Friday night, and I'll have to admit that I usually miss it because I'm at Dave Stroud's CorvAircraft BBQ instead, so that may be a reason to have it on Thursday or something, but Friday's the tradition so that's fine too. Having said that, since you'll be in charge, it's up to you this time around! This will be the first SNF I've missed since 1993. But on the other hand I certainly can't complain about England or the great people I've met here so far. I got in an hour of mountain biking on the footpaths this afternoon, and really wish I'd had my camera with me. I watched a fabulous sunset over horse pastures, fields, rolling hills, and finally the grand finale on a wooden bridge overlooking a gorgeous lake full of ducks. Life shouldn't be this good! The Ringwood Ale ain't bad either... Mark Langford N56ML "at" hiwaay.net website at http://www.N56ML.com --------------------------------------------------------
