I would use Naphtha! Naphtha is used as an industrial solvent and is excellent to remove grease and gunk off parts. Since it is distilled from crude oil in the same process of gasoline and kerosene, it will not harm gas fuel tanks. It can be purchased in one gallon containers from a home improvement or paint store ($10). It will evaporate quicker that gasoline. Cessna service manuals state that naphtha can be used in place of Stoddard solvent as a degreaser/cleaner. Brant Hollensbe
