One of the things I love about this build is the stepwise expense. Mark outlines it beautiful in his opinion piece. I know I will be buying a Dremel tool eventually, but for now I can only afford to buy the absolute neccessary tools right now. I have spent $160 in tools so far and I have borrowed a lot of tools like a jigsaw and drill. If I can build this plane, then anyone can. I feel like I am learning a lot. I really knew nothing and had no skills when I started. I question everything I do. It takes me 2 hours to do a 20 minute job.
