So far so good - I think the KR will work for me in some form of variant. :) My new question is whether to buy a kit, finished plane, etc. In the event I buy an unfinished project [I think the easiest to find], is there a place that I can have build the plane for me? I know this may seem to be a vague question, so I'll add this: I heard of a KR only builder in NC that doesn't build now, but did, cranked the planes out like hotcakes for many years. I'd prefer a place like that, though your retired build-for-fun guy is also high on the list. I don't care to donate my unskilled time into a project that may overwhelm me. I also work 40hrs per week and my discretionary time just wouldn't overcome the project [reason for buying plane, no real time off, so to go far, I must go fast].
