It is my understanding the gear is heated and pressed on and then the steel failsafe ring is heated and pressed onto the hub. Anything is possible but Clark's did install the gear and they are the experts on this. I will be talking to Mark at Clark's tomorrow and will let everyone know what his thoughts are.
