All,

I have a Revmaster 2180 turbo which has not run in some time... I am trying to
figure out should I keep it.. or just source an O200 for it.

My question is this, the turbo impellers currently do not rotate. I've spent
some time and disassembled the intake out and output housing to remove anything
that would be physically binding it from rotating; as I've posted earlerier,
the engine has not run in about 10 years.

Someone had suggested that because there is no oil pressure to the turbo, that
there might be some type of lock wich would prevent it from spinning,
preventing the Rajay turbo from spinning up without oil pressure.
Can anyone provide any insight?

Secondary,

The original prop that was on there was a metal 2 speed prop that was designed
to run on the Revmaster. As most are aware that make of prop was red tagged
for loosing blades while in flight.
I currently have a 52x52 wooden prop but would like to look into the posibility
of an adjustable prop for the front end of my bird to take advantage of the
turbo.

There has been alot of converation around composit props and that they should
not be used on the front of the Revmaster... Does anyone have any experience
with such a prop on the front of a Revmaster 2180 and if so, can you please
point me into the direction of a prop which would work for this solution.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff W.
