If the crank can be turned down .010" (maybe .020") and is an 8409 and it

but if it's not turned yet, that's moot because they could get ruined during
the grinding if the grinder isn't careful.? That's a lot of weight to be
carrying around an airshow!?
If your cowling's not built yet, I don't see a problem with the prop hub
length because it'll just put your prop a little further out in front of the
plane

Yeh, the crank could stay in the car if it is possible to get out to see it (if
not no biggie).? The crank is turned 10/10 and magnafluxed. I don't think he
did a great radius job but then I really don't know about that. There is some
stains on the journals from pitting?which concerns me but car builders don't
care. (Don't know if I would fly behind it?) I was hoping if it is good to use
I could start doing what ever work on it it needs for the 5th bearing. I guess
if I use the prop hub as is I wont be able to use the hybrid studs that came
with it. I have some learning to do on the 5th bearing thing.
I will arrive at the fly in on Saturday at around 9:00 and be leaving for
Biloxi around 1:00.
