Excellent idea. Originally, I co-located the ELT with the antenna to keep the coax short and make for a unitized installation, but relocating the ELT to the side makes perfect sense. I'll do that; thanks for the idea. Sometimes you look at a problem too closely for too long and you miss the most obvious solution.
