Myron & Kieth: You are correct but is it not true that in many places you are limited to an * ft vehicle width with out a permit. In those cases getting (2) wall thicknesses and any practical clearance would be tough in the 9" remaining and even in the 21 inches at a 9 ft vehicle width is close andwhile OK once in a while I would not want to do it often.
