Hi Netters, Roll over is a problem. I have had the unfortunate occasion to watch two people die in a roll over and subsequent fire. I built a strong roof top protection into my KR. It is supported by a fixed windshield and front roll over bars as well as roll over bar at the back of the side windows. All has been done in glass. I hope never to test it. The top roof top is 12 inches wide and 2 inches thick . It runs from the front windshield arch to about 4 feet back from the back of the pilots seat. It is integrated into the turtle deck. It is one of the strongest parts of the plane, The rudder post is the stronger of the two. Ron Freiberger's passing is sad, but that is life. I will be 77 year old this week and I may be next.
