Netters,

There was a post the other day about trashing a POSA Carb. Bob Glidden did
respond to the poster. Yes there are several of us that use the Posa. There
have been issues in the past, but through trial and error, most of the issues
have been taken care of. I have an 1835 with a Super Posa and a 2187 VW with a
Posa.

The Posa on the 1835 took a 22 year old KR2 150 miles in 1:26 both ways. It
took 5 gals. for the first leg, and I didn't have time to top off on the return
leg, but it appears to be the same. 3.33 gals per hour. The time was from
start up to shut down. In flight I had 136 to 138 ground speed both ways.
Wind was calm all day. I'm thinking this might be some pretty good numbers,
for a carb that was to be TRASHED. I know one person that had to repair his
carb twice in as many years. I'm not trying to reprimand the poster, but if a
person is asking information about something, send him or her to talk to people
who are using said items and having good luck with them.

I have some new great photos of the flight I took today, I will have them on my
site in the next few days
