I understand what he has done, and to answer your question about sitting
flat on the hub. It will not. With the 1/8" large washer inside the large
hole in the prop, the prop now rests on the washer at the protruding end of
the hub. Fix is 1/8" washers installed on each of the prop attachment bolts
between the prop and hub, thus, there will be 7 points of contact for the
prop to sit on.
