These new classes are the ones that were proposed to Eric Whyte
(Airventure Cup) by Sportsman Air Racing. We asked for a "sportsman"
class that would include VW and Corvair engines. We proposed that
there be a non timed fuel stop in the middle of the race so that the
smaller planes could race.

Eric has confirmed with me that there will indeed be a sportsman class
that includes VW and Corvair powered aircraft. Eric is hammering out
the final details right now. As soon as I hear back from him I will
post the class and course details.
