Hello KRnet,

The answer to the first tricycle KR-2. It belongs to my Dad and me. N15LD
Was first certified in June 1976. It was the seventh KR-2 to Fly. It
started out as a conventional gear and the was converted to tricycle in 1977
and recertified. Which made it the first fixed tricycle gear KR-2. We had
the plane at the fly in 2004 as a static display. It was the all white
plane with no N-number on it at that time. Since then it has been repainted
and is ready to fly again. A little history on the plane is it has over 400
hours on it. It is powered by a 1700 VW. Our plane empty weight is 445 lbs.
My Dad, Leo Davison, states the plane flys great and cruises around 160 MPH
or 140 Knots.

Sincerely,

John Davison
