NetHeads, Before we have a meltdown over this, I'll tell you that the email list isn't going away. I approached the forum thing with an open mind, and it does bring some new capability to the KRnet group, but I don't think it can replace the email list for reasons I mentioned on the forum. The voting agrees. Right now it looks like we keep the email list as the primary vehicle for KR info, and keep the forum for posting pictures and for sale stuff, and special topics like Dana's trip out West (that'll keep us from having to go to Yahoo or somewhere to discuss slightly off-topic stuff). The vast majority of the "pillar" builders and pilots that have emailed me agree. I don't know that I want to or even can keep folks from carrying on conversations on the forum, but it's clear to me that the "braintrust" is going to be on the email list. At least now nobody can complain that they can't post pictures, because the forum allows that capability.
This debate has sort of gotten out of hand. Several folks have unsubscribed in the last few days, notably Ken Cottle (an early KR builder and pilot) who joined a few weeks ago and apparently was unimpressed with the lack of real KR discussion. So let's get back to KRs, please...
