He lives here in Columbia, SC in a small two story condo. When I first met him he had a GlassAir project in his living room, which he eventually sold. He said that he wanted to get a Lancair Columbia, that was, at that time, going through the certification process. He lost patience and ended up getting a Cirrus. Well, he has sold the Cirrus and just got his brand new Lancair Columbia. These links tell his story about the change over trip from the Cirrus to the Columbia and it is very interesting. There are amazing pictures of flying over the Rocky Mountains. Remember, this all started because Lance Niebauer found the KR2 a little too small for him, his wife, and soon to be newborn. 29"Final Cirrus Flight"Feb 2007 30"First Lancair Flight"Feb 2007 31"Lancair/Cirrus Comparison"Feb 2007 See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - Then click on the pics See you at the 2007 - KR Gathering There is a time for building and a time for FLYING and the time for Flying has begun.
