If starting from scratch, the 1500 watt ceramic heater and duct work can
be had for about $30 total (depending on product availability in your
area) and it too "Works pretty darn good". The heater is a no-brainier
and you can be as creative as you want on the duct work. It is very
safe with no open flames, can be plugged in (both approaches require
electrical service) and left to run continuos if you want. You could
even add a thermostat control to the ceramic heater and place it under
the cowl to keep the engine area at a constant temp 24/7 if you want.

Netters,

I gotta get one of them heat things... It was a frigid and clear 81
degrees yesterday here in So. California and I could only stand to fly
for about an hour and a half. It is supposed to be the same today.
BRRRRRR. :) Happy Bowl Day!
